The innovative BURGprotect ™ smart home system from BURG-WÄCHTER combines protection against burglary, fire and water damage. During the development we put special emphasis on comfort, to make sure you can install all components in a few steps.
Therefore you can expand the intelligent alarm system at any time and adapt it to a new living environment.
How BURGprotect™ works
Base 2200: Control unit & alarm siren in one
The heart of BURGprotect ™ is the central control unit Base 2200. All sensors are connected to the base 2200 in no time – or better, at the touch of a button. Simply scan the QR code printed on each sensor with your smartphone. The Smart Home component – whether motion detector, window contact or smoke detector – is already registered and your alarm system ready for use. It could not work any faster or easier! The sensor range inside the house is up to 50 meters.
If unwanted guests try to enter the house, smoke is measured or a window opened, the Base 2200 informs in a matter of seconds via push message on the smartphone. At the same time, the device triggers an alarm sound of up to 100 decibels. This corresponds to the noise of a circular saw. To use the system, an Internet connection is necessary. Advantage: The control unit can go online in three different ways. Via LAN, WLAN or GSM (SIM card). In addition, the Base 2200 is protected against jamming attacks. Smart Home – for your safe home!
Everything in view, everything under control with the free BURGprotect™ app
Smart and easy: All sensors can be connected to the BURGprotect ™ app with the Base 2200 control unit. The app is available free of charge for Android and iOS in every store. Managing devices via the BURGprotect ™ app is straightforward and easy – whether you install 5, 50 or 500 components such as motion detectors, alarm sirens or smoke detectors. During the development, we placed great emphasis on the fact that the system can also be operated by users with little IT or system knowledge.
With the app you can operare- no matter where you are – the alarm system or unlock it. By use of the time delays of the Coming Home and Leaving Home function, a false alarm is prevented. Well thought-out features such as the scenario control of the Plug 2141 radio-controlled socket deter burglars. This turns lights and TVs on and off as if you were at home.
Self-defined sensors remain active with the Home function. For example, your garage or patio is monitored even when you are at home. The smoke detector Smoke 2050 and the water detector 2060 warn around the clock of a possible elemental damage for example a smoking oven or an overflowing washing machine.
